Detection of Bacterial Rhamnolipid Toxin by Redox Liposome Single Impact Electrochemistry

چکیده

The detection of Rhamnolipid virulence factor produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa involved in nosocomial infections is reported using the redox liposome single impact electrochemistry. Redox liposomes based on 1,2-dimyristoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine as a pure phospholipid and potassium ferrocyanide an encapsulated content are designed for interaction target toxin with lipid membrane sensing strategy. electrochemical principle weakening upon which leads at ultramicroelectrode to breakdown release/electrolysis its probe. We present proof concept sensitive fast submicromolar concentration detected after less than 30 minutes incubation liposomes, appearing current spikes chronoamperometry measurement.

extremal region detection guided by maxima of gradient magnitude

a problem of computer vision applications is to detect regions of interest under dif- ferent imaging conditions. the state-of-the-art maximally stable extremal regions (mser) detects affine covariant regions by applying all possible thresholds on the input image, and through three main steps including: 1) making a component tree of extremal regions’ evolution (enumeration), 2) obtaining region ...

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances

Proximal bacterial lysis and detection in nanoliter wells using electrochemistry.

Rapid and direct genetic analysis of low numbers of bacteria using chip-based sensors is limited by the slow diffusion of mRNA molecules. Long incubation times are required in dilute solutions in order to collect a sufficient number of molecules at the sensor surface to generate a detectable signal. To overcome this barrier here we present an integrated device that leverages electrochemistry-dr...

Single Molecule Electrochemistry: Impact of Surface Site Heterogeneity

Probing the electrochemistry of single molecules is a direct pathway toward a microscopic understanding of a variety of electron transfer processes related to energy science, such as electrocatalysis and solar fuel cells. In this context, Zaleski et al. recently studied the single electron transfer reaction of the dye molecule rhodamine-6G (R6G) by electrochemical single molecule surface-enhanc...

Single Molecule Electrochemistry

By using specially constructed nanometer tips of sharpened Pt-Ir wire in a wax sheath, small numbers of molecules (1-10) can be trapped between the tip and a substrate. Repeated electron transfers of an electroactive molecule as it shuttles by diffusion between tip and substrate produce a current (∼0.6 pA/molecule) that can be used to detect the trapped molecules. The tip electrode size and sha...
